Erfolgreich Lehren und Lernen – Vielfalt und Internationales im Studium (ELLVIS)

Projektbeschreibung:

In der Programmlinie QuiS des Landes Hessen hat die Goethe-Universität mit ihrem Projektantrag „Erfolgreich Lehren und Lernen – Vielfalt und Internationales im Studium“ (ELLVIS) Mittel eingeworben. Das Projekt ELLVIS hat die Steigerung von Lehrqualität, das Adressieren von Heterogenität, Diversität und Inklusion sowie eine Förderung der Internationalisierung des Studiums und der Lehre zum Ziel. Über ELLVIS werden bereits etablierte Formate weitergeführt und
-entwickelt, die durch neue Teilprojekte ergänzt werden. Die Goethe-Universität stärkt mit dem Projekt ihr Engagement für Diversity und Barrierefreiheit als Querschnittsthemen in der Lehre.

Folgende Teilprojekte werden durch das Interdisziplinäre Kolleg Hochschuldidaktik (IKH) verantwortet:

  • „Qualifizierung und Unterstützung von Lehrenden“ (Verstetigungsprojekt): Fortführung Workshops im Rahmen des Zertifikats Hochschullehre, des Professor*innenprogramms „Zeit für Lehre“, der Kick-Off-Workshops im Rahmen der Studiengangs(re-)akkreditierung und der Begleitung der Fachbereiche bei der Lehrprofileerstellung.
  • „Praxiselemente in der Lehre befördern“ (Pilotprojekt): Hochschuldidaktische Qualifizierung und Beratung von Lehrenden und Dekanaten zur Integration von Service Learning oder Work-Integrated-Learning in Lehrveranstaltungen.
  • „Internationalisierung in der Lehre“ (Pilotprojekt): Hochschuldidaktische Qualifizierung und Beratung von Lehrenden bei der Planung und Integration internationaler Elemente in der Lehre

Im Rahmen des universitätsweiten Projektes sind als zentrale Einrichtungen des Verbundes Di³+ neben dem IKH die Einrichtungen studiumdigitale, das Gleichstellungsbüro sowie die Inklusionsbeauftragte in Kooperation tätig.  Weitere im Projekt beteiligte Akteure sind die Koordinatorinnen der Zentren (Methodenzentrum, Zentrum für Lehrerbildung, Zentrum Geisteswissenschaften und Zentrum Naturwissenschaften) sowie Mitarbeiter*innen in den Fachbereichen und im Bereich SLI (Studium, Lehre, Internationales).

Successful Teaching and Learning - Diversity and Internationalization in Higher Education (ELLVIS)

Project description:

In the QuiS program line of the state of Hesse, Goethe University has acquired funding with its project application "Successful Teaching and Learning - Diversity and Internationalism in Studies" (ELLVIS). The ELLVIS project aims to increase teaching quality, address heterogeneity, diversity and inclusion, and promote the internationalization of studies and teaching. Through ELLVIS, already established formats are continued and developed, which are supplemented by new sub-projects. With this project, Goethe University strengthens its commitment to diversity and accessibility as cross-cutting issues in teaching.

The Interdisciplinary College for University Teaching (IKH) is responsible for the following sub-projects:

  • "Qualification and support of teachers" (follow-up project): Continuation of workshops within the program of the Certificate in University Teaching, the professor program "Time for Teaching", the kick-off workshops within the framework of the study program (re-)accreditation and the support of the departments in the creation of teaching profiles (“Lehrprofile”).
  • "Promoting practical elements in teaching" (pilot project): qualification and advice for teachers and dean's offices on the integration of service learning or work-integrated learning in courses.
  • Internationalization in teaching" (pilot project): Qualification and advice for teachers on planning and integrating international elements in teaching.

Within the context of the university-wide project, the central institutions of the Di³+ network are the IKH, studiumdigitale, the Equal Opportunities Office, and the Inclusion Officer.  Other actors involved in the project are the coordinators of the centers (Center for Methodology, Center for Teacher Education, Center for the Humanities, and Center for the Natural Sciences) as well as employees in the departments and in the SLI department (Studies, Teaching, International Affairs).
