PsyBSc13 Prüfungsform (2020)

PsyBSc13 Prüfungsform (2020)

Due to the situation caused by Covid19, an alternative exam format is required this year to replace the usual in-person Klausur. Instead, exam candidates will write a collection of short essays as a substitute for the Klausur. The essays should be written to answer 5 questions (exact number of questions to be determined). The questions will be accompanied by a strict word count (in the range of 300 words). Therefore, you are required to provide concise and to-the point essays. The essay questions will ask you to synthesize your knowledge across the content of 2019/2020 PsyBSc13 Vorlesung Module (Winter and Summer Semesters; both the readings and lectures), critically evaluate research findings, and apply your knowledge for analyzing situations. You are strongly encouraged to write your essays in English, as the module content is entirely in English. If preferred, you can nevertheless write the essays in German.

The content of PsyBSc13 module in 2019/2020 Winter and Summer Semesters (the readings, slides, and recordings) is accessible in OLAT. If you don’t have access to them, please contact Frau Weyershäuser (g.weyershaeuser@psych.uni-frankfurt.de) to let you into the OLAT courses.

The questions will be given out on 21.07.2020 (noon). The deadline is 11.08.2020, with up to 3 weeks extension possible (automatically approved, no need to request) due to Covid19. Therefore, the latest date to submit is 01.09.2020 (earlier submission is possible). Please DO NOT forget to provide your signed Eigenständigkeitserklärung (see FAQs of Prüfungsamt website) at the end of the document (digital signature is fine). One final document (containing all essays and Eigenständigkeitserklärung in one PDF file) should be emailed to Frau Weyershäuser at g.weyershaeuser@psych.uni-frankfurt.de.

We wish you all the best!
